Agreement
The Medical Reporting Organisation Agreement (MRO), renewed in April 2010, provides predictability in the cost of medical evidence and streamlines the recovery of costs for medical reports in personal injury claims. The agreement facilitates direct billing to insurers for medical reports, allowing third party insurers to pay medical fees directly for orthopaedic, A & E and GP reports where damages are less than £15,000.

Attending your examination
Personal injury claims are usually settled before any court appearances on the basis of the medical report. You must attend a medical examination so that you are assessed properly, and a report can be prepared to help support your claim
